Image of Dr Adrian Minson

Dr Adrian Minson is a consultant haematologist with dual qualifications in clinical and laboratory haematology. He manages all types of blood conditions including both benign and malignant disorders, and has a passion for clear and open communication.

Dr Minson completed his training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and undertook an extensive fellowship sub-specialising in the care of patients with lymphoma. He completed a PhD through the University of Melbourne investigating strategies to optimise the use of cutting-edge immunotherapies for patients with aggressive lymphoma, and has developed a program of novel clinical trials providing access to these treatments for hundreds of patients across Australia. He has published extensively in this area, and has presented results of these studies at numerous international conferences, for which he was awarded an American Society of Hematology Abstract Achievement Award in 2022 and the ASH-HSANZ Abstract Award in 2024. He is an active member of the research community, including through the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group where he undertook an Early Career Clinician Researcher fellowship, and is currently developing a program of haematology clinical trials at Cabrini Health.

Dr Minson is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University. His work has been recognised through a series of grants, including an RCPA Foundation Post-Graduate Research Fellowship, a Gilead Fellowship and he is the current holder of a Discovery Partner Fellowship at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Dr Minson draws on this experience to ensure that patients receive the best possible care for their haematologic conditions.
