New Patient referrals

Outpatient referrals can be made to The Blood Unit Haematology clinic or to one of haematologists specifically -

• A/Prof Max Wolf
• Prof Michael Dickinson
• A/Prof Stephen Ting
• Dr Joshua Casan
• Dr Adrian Minson
• Dr Anna Kalff

and they will be triaged to be seen as soon as possible.  A written referral from a general practitioner or specialist is required for all new outpatient referrals and please be advised that referrals must be received and triaged by one of our haematologists before an appointment can be made.

Inpatient referrals

Requests for consultation for Cabrini Inpatients can be made by calling The Blood Unit Consultant via Cabrini Hospital Switchboard 9508 1222.

Emergency Department referrals

All haematologists within The Blood Unit participate in the haematologist on-call roster for the Cabrini Hospital Emergency Department, or you can refer a patient to the Emergency Department and specifically request one of our haematologists by name.
